Terms and conditions

I. TEACHING AND SUPERVISING SERVICES

Subscription to services supervised by Cors'Aventure signifies your acceptation of the following terms and conditions.


ART. 1 – MONITORS

Cors'Aventure proposes supervisions and teaching of outdoor sport activities : canyoneering, sea-kayaking, sailing, paddle, rafting, white water, biking, hiking. All of those activities are supervised by state certified guide (B.E.E.S / D.E.J.E.P.S) in their respective disciplines, as well as their legal obligations (professional insurances). 


ART. 2 – SUBSCRIPTIONS AND RESERVATIONS

All of our activities are by reservation only. In order to so, there are different ways : online booking forms (www.corse-aventure.com) or by e-mail to "info@corse-aventure.com" or by phone (+33 (0)4-95-25-91-19) or even at our base in Eccica-Suarella. 

GROUP ACTIVITIES : The booking is confirmed from the moment the buyer has received the confirmation email.

PRIVATE ACTIVITIES (institutions, companies, associations): The booking is confirmed from the reception of a 30% deposit and a confirmation email.

In both cases, the balances will be due directly to Cors'Aventure at the start of the activity. 


ART. 3 – RATES

Cors'Aventure rates are present on the website, as well as in the brochures available in hotels, campings, tourist information centers. 

Rates include : organization, supervision of the state certified guide and the necessary equipment for the activity. 

Some activities can also present optional equipment, on request and with a supplement (ex : canyoneering shoes). 

We invite you to read the "necessary equipment" and "provided equipment" of the activities on our website or contact us to get them sent. 


Rates do not include : Extra equipement (ex: Gopro camera), transport to the meeting point and personal expenses. 

For 1/2 of full-day activities (pic-nic, water and snacks) are at your own expenses. 


ART. 4 – PAYMENTS

For all activites, payments must be made directly to Cors'Aventure attention. 

Accepted payments : Cheques, bank transfers, online payments and cash. 


ART. 5 – PARTICIPATING CONDITIONS

Our activities are open to everybody. However, depending on the activities and paths, some conditions will apply (age limit, swimming, sport level etc.).

Cors'Aventure does not have the possibility to verify everybody's availability to practice the activity. Therefore, it is upon each of you to make sure you can participate to the activity. 

For canyoneering and white water activity, you must know how to swim. 

Please note that you must not be under medical restriction for a specific activity when deciding to practice it. 

IMPORTANT : You have specific medical specifities, please inform the monitor prior to the activity.


ART. 6 – INSURANCES AND RESPONSABILITY

Cors'Aventure is insured with professional indemnity for all the activities we propose, as well as possible rescue operation if needed. 

However, we strongly recommend all the participants to be insured with civil liability, especially for white water and mountain activities. Indeed, our professional indemnity cannot replace your civil liability. 

Cors'Aventure is insured for the activities we propose only and its responsability will not be engaged for activities booked to other providers. 

In case of personal accident, the responsability of Cors'Aventure and its monitor stop as soon as the rescue services are in charge of the victim. 

Outdoor sport activities take place in an environment called "risky". 

Every participant is conscious, based on the specific field of practice, that some risks are present, especially due to the remoteness and isolation of some sites. Therefore, you must follow all the given rules and advices of the monitor

Each participant is responsible for the equipment that is lended to him for the activity. Cors'Aventure will not be responsible for potential damage caused by the equipment. 

In case of lost or damage equipment, it can be asked to the client to reimburse a part of the whole amount. 

Cors'Aventure and its monitors will not be responsible for the lost of theft (including in your vehicles) or broken stuff (ex: glasses, cameras) that participant will decide to bring with them. 


ART. 7 – CANCELLATION BY THE CLIENT OF A DAY ACTIVITY

7.1 Cancellation by the client

- Cancellation up to 48h before activity : Reimbursement of the deposit

- Cancellation less than 48h before activity : Balance mut be paid


7.2 – Interruption during the activity

In case of interruption during the activity, the client will not get any refund. 


ART. 7A – CANCELLATION BY THE CLIENTS OF JOURNEYS/TRIPS

7.1 Cancellation by the client

- Up to 30 days before departure : total reimbursement

- Between 30 to 15 days before departure : 30% deposit will be kept.

- Between 15 and 8 days before departure : 50% of the total amount will be kept.

- Between 8 to 2 days before departure : 75% of the total amount will be kept.

- 2 days before departure : 100% of the total amount will be kept. 


ART. 8 – CANCELLATION BY CORS'AVENTURE

8.1 – Cancellation

Cors'Aventure monitors can decide, at any moment, to cancel or adapt the activity for weather conditions or the level of participants. 

All activities can be cancelled for security reasons (weather forecast, sea conditions) or any other god's will. In this case, another activity will be proposed to the client or another date. If the proposals do not fit your requirements, the total amount is reimbursed. 

In case of a cancellation based on insufficient number of people to confirm the tour, there will be a total reimbursement. 


8.2 – Exclusion

Cors'Aventure monitors have the right to exclude a participant from the activity, if the person is drunk or if its attitude trouble the activity or if the security of the group is compromised. In this case, the client will not be reimbursed. 


ART. 9 – MEETING

A meeting time and place will automatically be given to you for each activity. In respect to other clients and for the good run of the activity, we kindly ask you to arrive on time. We can wait for you up to 15min but after that, monitors can decide to start the activity. No reimbursement will be possible. 


ART. 10 – MINORS SUPERVISION:

Minors under 14 years-old without child's legal guardian will not be accepted in our group sessions. 

Minors from 14 to 18 years-old non accompanied by their parents during the activity will be accepted in our group sessions, but parents will have to sign a parental permission. 

In case a transport is necessary to reach the meeting point, minors will have to be transported by their parents. 


Minors during school trips :

The organization in charge of the school trip will have to provide Cors'Aventure with : 

- A certificate that each child knows how to swim

- Sanitary sheet of each participant

On the other hand, Cors'Aventure will provide certificates and documents necessary for the organization of the trip (Insurances, state certified diplomas of the monitors etc.).

Supervision of minors resides under specific regulations : 8 minors maximum supervised by 1 monitor. Each group of minors must be accompanied by 2 adults minimum (one from the organization and the other being the monitor for the activity).


ART 11. GIFT VOUCHER

Gifts voucher will be in effect right from the reception of the total payment. 

It will be nominative. However, it can be exchanged with another person as long as Cors'Aventure is being informed. 

The beneficiary of the gift voucher must contact Cors'Aventure to book the activity. 

The activity of the gift voucher can be changed for another activity proposed by Cors'Aventure, if the value is less or equal to the requested activity. However, it can be changed also for a more expensive activity as long as the difference is paid by the client. 

ATTENTION : each gift voucher will have a deadline. Passed this deadline, the service will be considered used and it will not be possible to postpon it. Its beneficiary will not be reimbursed.

The gift voucher and ID card will have to be presented to the monitor on the day of the activity. 

Session will be confirmed only if the minimum number of participant is reach and the weather conditions are favorable to the good run of the activity. 


ART. 12 – CONFLICTS SOLVING

Each party will do its best to solve a possible conflict in an amicable way. If no agreement is reached, all conflicts will be dealt based on French Rights. 


II. EQUIPMENT RENTAL

ART 1. RESERVATION

All of our activities, including equipement rental (canyoning shoes, kayak and nautic base) are by reservation. In order to do so, you have several solution : online booking form (www.corse-aventure.com), by email (info@corse-aventure.com) or by phone (+33 (0)4-95-25-91-19) or directly at our base in Eccica-Suarella. 

The reservation is confirmed as soon as the client receives a confirmation email. 

Article 2 : The period booked in the contract can’t be modified without the agreement of Cors’Aventure and will be considered according to availabilities.

Article 3 : A first payment of 30% of the total price will be charged after this contract has been conclude. The guest commits himself to pay the remaining balance and the deposit when he is taking possession of the equipment. This date will have to be confirmed at least 10 days before the renting. The financial guarantee won’t be refund even if the guest asks for a cancellation of the contract before the given date for the confirmation.

Article 4 : The total amount of the location has to be paid to the company, whether the equipment has been used or not, regardless to the reason.

Article 5 : In the case the owner is in the impossibility to rent the equipment specified above, because of a sudden damage or an unforeseen difficulty, he has the right to provide any other equivalent equipment.

Article 6 : It is strictly forbidden to navigate at more than 5 nautical miles away the coast. The tenant commits to don’t exceed the number of passenger allowed per boat. In case of fault, the tenant will have to deal from his own with the maritime authorities and customs, trials, fines, proceedings and seizures. If the boat had to be seized by the authorities, the tenant will have the obligation to pay to the owner an obligatory and contractual indemnity, corresponding to the rental price in operation.

Article 7 : The tenant has to return the integrality of the equipment in good condition, just like it was at the renting. If the general state of the equipment is satisfying, then the whole deposit will be returned to the tenant.

Article 8 : If any damage or loss of the equipment and accessories is noticed, the tenant will have to pay for the repairs and compensation. The refund of the deposit will be delayed until the payment of the company’s insurance is received for the repairs or replacements. This refund will take in account the excess which is not refundable by the insurance and any other expenses due to the damages caused.

Article 9 : The boat, accessories and any other equipment have to be returned within the allotted time.

Article 10 : In case of sudden damage the tenant commits to contact Cors’aventure to obtain instructions.

Article 11 : Cors’aventure can’t be considered as responsible for any interruption of the activity due to sudden damages which happened during the renting, and no refund will be done, complete or partial.

Article 12 : Any sublease is strictly forbidden.

Article 13 : All the costs of proceedings following the renting will be the expense of the tenant.

Article 14 : For all relative disputes about the execution of this contract, and without amicable accord, a jurisdictional competence will be done to the Corsican courts.

 

ART. 2 – RATES

Rental rates are provided on Cors'Aventure website, as well as a brochure of activities (present in hotels, residences, tourist informatio, centers). 

Rates include : rental of the equipment. 

Below are the different rental possibilities : 

Canyoning shoes rental

Sea-kayak one or two-seater Rotomod for hours, half or full day

Sea kayak one or two-seater Prijon for days, weeks or month

Paddle, Fun Boat and catamaran hobiecat16

Rates do not include : potential extra equipment (gopro camera), transport to the site of the activity and personal expenses. 

ART. 3 – PAYMENTS

Payments must be made to Cors'Aventure

Payment methods accepted : Cheques, bank transfers, online payment or cash. 

A caution of 200€ will be requested for rotomod kayaks and a caution of 500€ will be requested for the Prijon kayaks.

ART 4. INSURANCES AND RESPONSABILITIES

In the case of sport practice with equipment, especially when it is rental equipment (not supervised by a state certified monitor), the client ensures he has the specific knowledge and competences to practive the sport on its own. The client is fully responsible for its excursion and Cors'Aventure will not be responsible for potential accident. 


ART. 5 – INSURANCE

Cors'Aventure is insured with professional indemnity for all the activities we propose, as well as possible rescue operation if needed.

ART. 6 – CANCELLATION

6.1 Cancellation by the client

- A 30% deposit must be paid to confirm the rental

- This deposit will be kept with a cancellation is made less than 30 days prior to departure

- The client comits to paying the balance no later than 8 days prior to departure

6.2 Cancellation by Cors'Aventure

- If the rental is cancelled by Cors'Aventure for weather reasons, the deposit will be reimbursed.
